We are thrilled to bring you, the Armcherries, our first event on The Armcherry Companion’s Discord Server. When we first had the idea to put the companion server together we knew this was going to be a huge step for Armcherries to communicate with one another. Now, we are also able to host exciting events, like this one, and invite authors of thought-provoking books like White American Youth: My Descent into America’s Most Violent Hate Movement–and How I Got Out.
We are proud to present, in collaboration with The Armcherry Book Club a Q&A with author Christian Picciolini. Christian is not only an author, but has also been featured in a docu-series on MSNBC called Breaking Hate as well as several other documentaries dealing with racism in America. He just released a new podcast that starts today (July 5th), called “F*** Your Racist History”. Christian’s impressive anti-racist actions are commendable and we’re excited to have him join our server to chat with Armcherries.
All Armcherries are invited to join us on July 8th 2021 at 9pm EST to listen in on the Q&A with the Armcherry Book Club. The book club will be utilizing the stage feature on the Discord Server, allowing for an organized chat with Christian. If you are interested in asking a question, and you are not part of the book club, please submit your questions to ed@thearmcherrycompanion.com or reach out to me through DM on the Armcherry Discord Server. We will try our best to get to all questions that are submitted.
You can join our Discord Server right here.
