Episode 10
Anna Faris
She currently is in a hit TV Sitcom called Mom. You may know her as the girl that was sprayed to a ceiling with semen in Scary Movie. She'll touch on that in this episode and a whole lot more. We can't tell if she's sensual or sexual, but it probably doesn't matter.
What's this all about?
It’s possible this episode really has nothing to do with Anna Faris at all, and everything to do with Monica’s love for The Grove. This episode briefly talks about the problem of pay disparity in Hollywood and the need for that to change. Anna has her own podcast, so it is a lot of fun to hear her go toe to toe with Dax. Sometimes you’re not even sure who is interviewing who here. It seems the theme that both talk about is being comfortable with themselves. Listen to it here.
What did they say?
- @0:50“No one asks about that!” Anna is the first to ask about the Great Dane picture situated behind Dax.
- @1:30 “Yes of course Dax I have read The Fountainhead.” Dax read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand because it was Brad Pitt’s favorite book. Dax reveals that he fell in love with Brad Pitt in Legends of the Fall. Anna and Dax partake in the Diet Red Bull.
- @7:09 “I don’t know if my character would have diarrhea.” Anna talks about her willingness to do just about anything when it comes to acting and comedy.
- @8:49 “I saw him once there at a Wendy’s drive-thru in his Porsche.” Bill Gates is in love with Wendy’s and Dax has witnessed this love.
- @10:08 “I enjoy it.” Monica explains why she loves The Grove so much. She can usually be spotted there buying clothes and bath mats. Anna then gets an idea that her and Dax should start a mayoral competition to see who would be the mayor of The Grove. Dax isn’t really into The Grove.
- @15:09 “No one can get sprayed to the ceiling like Anna Faris.” Anna talks about how studio executives thought she was replaceable when it came to the Scary Movie series. Dax, armed with Trump’s The Art of the Deal, plans to help Anna out. This starts the conversation about pay disparity in Hollywood.
- @28:02 “You started acting as a kid?” Anna doesn’t get to talk about how she started acting as a kid. We instead hear a story about how Dax heavily flirted with a then married Anna in 2005. This conversation then leads into her getting divorced and her family’s reaction.
- @51:23 “Did you fall down stairs just before this photo was taken?” Anna and Dax discuss their issues with their looks, and the way they view themselves now compared to their childhood.
- @58:20 “I like to think that sensuality and sexuality are a little bit different.” Anna thinks of herself as being more sensual than sexual. As Dax points out that there are a lot of males mastubating as she’s saying this.
- @1:01:35 ” You can have exactly what you want.” Monica details how porn can give a guy exactly what they are looking for. Dax talks about being drunk and having sex vs. being sober and having sex.
- @1:03:53 “I’ve probably been to a strip club eight times in my life, five of the times were in Albuquerque.” Dax talks about his lack of interest in strip clubs, except when he’s bored in Albuquerque.
- @1:13:16 “Oh my God, now if Dax and Kristen separate love is dead.” Dax and Anna talk about being part of the #couplegoals idea. How love is not dead if celebrity couples split up. This was the same conversation discussed in Episode 2 with Kristen.
- @1:25:19 “I want to end on a high note.” Dax and Anna reminisce about their trip with their spouses to Hawaii, all to eat a piece of chocolate. Chris Pratt wears an American Flag speedo. Brad Garrett was in a pool. Anna possibly drank so much that she never ate the piece of chocolate.
